Digital first and integrated should be the new report for ETH Zürich. This was the task given according to the university's demand to the participants of a public pitch. The goal of the annual report: to show the contribution that ETH makes to society and to the social and economic development of Switzerland and the world.

Based on the assessment of various agencies, FS Parker was mandated accordingly. In close collaboration with the responsible team from University Communications, Sustainability and the Financial Office, and in coordination with and integration of various departments of the university, we performed several assessments and workshops to develop a primarily digital report that integrates into the ETH website and links to its wide-ranging topics.

"Connected" was the topic of the annual report 2023, in the spirit of "connection creates value". At the center of the reporting is the interactive value creation model. This focuses on the university's core activities and success factors based on the most crucial resources to create output from an environmental, social and governance perspective. For Switzerland, but also for the whole world.

As sustainability and diversity are integral parts of ETH Zürich's culture, FS Parker has integrated the contents of the Sustainability Report and the Equality Monitoring into the Annual Report and color-coded them in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals. In addition to the digital report, a short print report was also published.

Andrea Lingk, co-project lead for the annual report at the university communications department, is enthusiastic about the good cooperation with the agency.
