The Adecco Group, based in Zurich, Switzerland, is the world’s second largest Human Resources provider and temporary staffing firm. The Adecco Group's Athlete Programme was given a boost by a strategic reemphasis in supporting professional athletes in career transition. After intense discussions between the IOC and Adecco the 10-year programme was strategically prioritised by Adecco in the lead up to the Tokyo Olympic games.
Our role was to consult and recommend a rebrand of their program followed by a campaign to recommunicate and thereby reinvigorate their service offering to athletes and companies.
Creation and design work was a process of intense collaboration between the clients internal team and our own creative unit. The overall solution was built through a series of agile based client workshops and brainstorming sessions.
The solution came in the form of a high-level communication campaign combining digital and multi-channel recommendations. We designed and created a central hub concept which came in the form of a website.
Driving communications activities to this website allowed our client to share information with the respective target audiences (employers and athlete employees). Supporting the site were two distinct service lines. A high-end recruiting service to support athletes and a B2B accreditation solution for companies to become “athlete ready” in attracting talent.
The Adecco Group Athlete Programmes has evolved since 2021 into a global business unit within one of the Group's core brands: LHH - Lee Hecht Harrison. The team effort from Adecco Group and FS Parker is now reflected in the LHH Sports Solutions brand: the business unit of the Adecco Group dedicated to the sports industry, athletes and athlete employers.
